Chevron Action Flash, one of Great Britain's top Ultimate Frisbee teams approached us to make a t-shirt to hand out to their Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the end of each of their games at the World Ultimate Club Championships 2014 in Lecco, Italy.
Staying true to their club colours and aiming for a fresh summer feel, we opted for a bright blue garment and made it incredibly difficult for ourselves by creating a 6-coloured design.
The rainbow colours honour a deceased club founder and we knew remained essential to the final version of the design. With a creative approach to the printing process, we had absolutely no regrets about our design and learned a lot during the work.
With a brush we single-handedly painted in every colour of the rainbow for each individual t-shirt. It definitely took us some time, but we knew the result would be worth the investment. We ended up with some truly handcrafted items, that would reward them for their efforts on the field.
We ended up very pleased with the mix of colours and thankful to Chevron for the challenge. You can read about our experience at WUCC2014 on our blog.
