Big or small, a mountain range can be intimidating and welcoming at the same time, offering endless possibilities for excitement. It doesn’t matter where you are; sat in a chair lift rising through the clouds, in a car flying along, or cycling on an indistinguishable road; something happens when hills and mountains appear.
A particular thought that pops into our mind fuelled the first sketch lines for Any Way Down: “What would be the best way down?” It happens when you’ve got a board strapped to your feet, a tingle of apprehension as the snowy options unfold beneath you. It happens as you cycle up and see trails split and divide offering countless options for a way down.
One of the best “Any Way Down” moments though is when your not attached to your downhill instrument of choice and you see the horizon change from a distant flat haze as contours tighten and shapes start to eat into the skyline.
Mountains become clear and your mind drifts to the moment; at the top of the hill looking down. Mountain Bike, Mountain Board or Snowboard in hand, you know that from the top you can choose Any Way Down.
