Glower Rides 2019 - Social MTB rides for women across the UK

April 10, 2019

Ladies! Do you find yourself riding the same riding spots all the time or wishing you could try somewhere new but are unsure if your ability fits the location or where to go once you get there?

Glower Rides are a series of events for women (which guys are welcome to tag along to – no barriers here!) we’re holding this year to help introduce riders of beginner to intermediate levels to new awesome riding spots.

The days of riding are aimed at getting you to progress your riding, try something new and expand your network of riding buddies. Each location you’ll be hosted by a friendly local female, so you can tap into their experience and always have a contact when you want to return.

Please note that these rides are not coaching sessions, but social rides aimed at exploring new places and connecting with fellow riders.

When and where?

We've got a few locations lined up for you:

What's the plan?

We will generally have a female guide at each location who knows the trails well, is familiar with the features and skills required and is happy to walk all of us through what to expect.

Each ride will have a very relaxed set up, there is no pressure to ride certain things and we’ll be going at the pace of the slowest rider so no one gets left behind and everyone has fun. Where possible, we will head for a social drink at a nearby pub after the ride.

How do I sign up?

If you fancy yourself a bit of downhill riding with other lady shredders, click on the links of the events you are interested in, sign up by adding your entry to the basket and join us for some fun!  Once you've bought your entry, you will be put into the draw for a give-away that will get you some Glower goodies!

Details about location, facilities, membership, park passes, protection and other things to bring will be included in each event.

Go ahead and sign up! We are looking forward to meeting you and riding some new trails with you.
